A refined chef of great skill who has made quality, appreciation of the territory and mastery of raw materials his mission in the kitchen. All things that we at Villa Curina Resort believe to be the starting point for any successful culinary project, and we are convinced that Pancrazio is the right professional with whom to embark on our new journey.
Bringing to the table raw materials directly from our vegetable garden and turning only to local producers, our goal is to create a unicum, a zero km restaurant for genuine and sustainable cuisine that stands out from the others, all this out of love for our territory and the desire to make it known to everyone.
Lucanian, born in 1964, Pancrazio Calamello with his quality Italian cuisine, strongly linked to tradition, carries forward the idea that food is experience, knowledge and attention to detail and all this shines through in each of his recipes.
He has travelled the world bringing Italian food and wine culture to Germany, Norway and China. He has had the honour of cooking for great public figures such as Rita Levi Montalcini, Salvatore Fiume, Sandro Pertini and even for President Barack Obama during his visit to Siena in 2017.
